Dead Stock Radar reads your catalog and your recent order history to work out the last date every variant sold. Anything still in stock that has not sold inside your dead window is listed, with the quantity on hand, the unit cost, and the money those units are holding. A shorter window flags the variants that are slowing down before they become dead. You set both windows, and a minimum value so small lines stay out of the way.
Shopify's ABC analysis grades products by how much revenue they contribute, and Shopify's own documentation says that on the Basic or Lite plan you need to “download a reporting app with ABC analysis from the Shopify App Store.” Grading by revenue also means the report never names the products that stopped selling — you read a C grade and work it out yourself. Dead Stock Radar answers the narrower question directly, on every plan: which in-stock variants have not sold, and what is that costing right now.
Order data is read as line-item unit counts per variant per day and aggregated immediately. No customer names, emails, addresses or order records are stored. The app is read-only in your store unless you tag a product for clearance, and Settings has a one-click Remove all tags this app added before you uninstall.

How is the last sale date worked out?
From order line items, aggregated to unit counts per variant per day. No customer names, emails or addresses are read or stored.
Why is a product listed as dead when I know it sells?
The window applies per variant. One variant can sell while another has not moved; check the SKU on the row.
Where does the value come from?
Quantity on hand times the cost per item set on the variant in Shopify. Variants without a cost fall back to price, and the app says so on screen.
Does the app change anything in my store?
Only when you ask it to: a clearance tag, hiding a product by setting it to Draft, or a price change on the clearance ladder. Each is reversible, daily auto-tagging is off by default, and everything else is read-only.
Does hiding a product delete it?
No. It sets the product to Draft, which removes it from your sales channels and leaves the product, variants and inventory untouched. Unhide restores the previous status.

What happens to my data when I uninstall?
